The Jenks Avenue young adult group ranges from college-age through the 20's. We are a close-knit group who get together to encourage one another in our spiritual walk and to have fun in a Christian atmosphere.
Our scheduled activities include:
Bi-Monthly home bible studies Every other week we meet in someone's home to study the Bible together. During the 2007-2008 School year we are studying through the book of John looking for ways that Jesus revealed who he was as the Word made flesh.
Free child-care is provided at all young adult Bible studies.
Monthly Weekend activities Each month we schedule a fun activity especially designed for guests to come fellowship with our group. In 2007 some of our activities were an 80's party, a canoe trip, and an ultimate Frisbee picnic.
We'd like to encourage all young adults from 18 to 30 to visit with us for any of our scheduled activities. Or come worship with our warm church family on Sunday or Wednesday. We'll look forward to meeting you.
