WHAT IS A WEB FEED?
Web feeds allow you to easily keep track of more sites in less time by allowing software programs to check for updates published on a web site. The site owner publishes a list (or "feed") of recent articles or content. The feed can then be downloaded by a program known as a feed reader, or aggregator, which can check webpages on your behalf and display any updated articles that it finds. It is common to find web feeds on major Web sites, as well as many smaller ones.
For a list of commonly used feed readers visit AtomEnabled.org.
