It's almost here
Can you believe that summer is almost here? There is so much about summers that I really enjoy. I love the time my kids have off from school because that means we get to hang out more and take our yearly family summer vacation. We usually go to Disney and have a blast. I also get to have a blast at Camp Wiregrass, go on Mission trips and so much more. This summer is going to be awesome! I feel like God is going to do great things this summer. I really do hope that if you are part of our youth ministry, that you will be involved this summer in any of our events, devotionals, or Bible studies. The year has gone by so quickly, I can't believe it's May. But so far, God has been doing some amazing things in our church. It seems like we are being showered with visitors, Bible study opportunities, and 12 baptisms so far. The baptisms started at Winterfest with one of our teens and then last week 2 other guys were baptized, one was from our Youth Ministry and the other was his little brother. Their dad baptized them, that was so awesome to watch. Their dad did an awesome job. I can't wait for the day that I will be up there taking my kid's confessions and baptizing them.
We had an awesome guys retreat, man it was really cool to be able to stay out there at "The property", thanks again Mr. DM. Right now the girls are having their retreat, the theme was "God's Girl", my wife has been really pumped up about the retreat. In just a few weeks we will be honoring our seniors, 12 of them. I can't believe time has flown by so quickly and all those little 6th graders I was running around with are now grown up, that's insane, or as Randy and I would say "That's mango madness". It has been fun watching them grow up though, both physically and spiritually. What are some of your thoughts on summers, graduating, and mango madness?
